I’m so thrilled to receive this "Seeds for Success" grant. I am grateful for the funds, which I’ll use to develop my first products. I’m grateful for the web site design and development help from Yahoo! This will allow me to promote, sell, and communicate with consumers around the world. What I am most grateful for, though, is the opportunity to receive mentoring from top business advisors. The business knowledge they’ll share will be immeasurable. I don't know of any entrepreneur who has ever started a company with all of these resources. I feel so blessed.

First advice

May 1st, 2008

I received my first bit of advice from Eric Young of EYStudios.com, who is designing my website. He cautioned me about getting overwhelmed while I am planning my website. He says to focus on one area at a time. It is so easy to think about the “whole” website and all I want to have, but he advises me to just work on one area and make it just right. My logo is the first priority. You will be able to preview our website www.head2toepub.com in a few weeks.

Will your products help the hearing impaired?

Our products can be used with hearing impaired students. The idea is that our products can be adapted for use with any student with any challenge. We will always provide a booklet with each product that outlines how you can adapt it for or use it with a certain population. Thanks so much for your interest!!
